Foundation of Mi Hazánk Mozgalom

Founded in 2018 by former politicians of Jobbik, the Mi Hazánk Mozgalom (Our Homeland Movement) emerged as a far-right, nationalist party combining Euroscepticism, anti-immigration positions, and welfare chauvinism. After entering parliament in 2022 with 5.9% of the vote, it strengthened its position in lower socio-economic rural regions. In 2026, it again secured parliamentary representation with 5.6% of the vote. The party also draws on far-right traditions rooted in the MIÉP and early Jobbik, and its rhetoric has repeatedly been associated with antisemitic and anti-Israel tropes.
