Launch of Kuruc.info

The far-right website Kuruc.info launched on 1 February 2006, operating anonymously from U.S. servers. Framing itself as “patriotic,” it quickly became a central platform for Hungary’s extremist ecosystem, publishing racist, antisemitic and antigypsy content, doxing opponents, and amplifying far-right movements. Its influence helped normalise online hate speech and conspiracy narratives in post-2000 Hungary.
