Second anti-Jewish Law
The Second anti-Jewish Law is the commonly used name for the law “on the restriction of Jews’ participation in public and economic life.” Most of the law contained the restrictive provisions indicated in its title; however, its first paragraph also defined who was to be considered Jewish, recognizing not only religious affiliation but also ancestry as a decisive criterion and giving it legal effect.
