Display of SS Symbol in Leányfalu
A Holocaust survivor reported seeing an SS rune flag displayed at a house party in Leányfalu, where attendees mocked him and one man openly declared himself a Nazi. Despite photographic evidence and testimony, police originally accepted the claim that the flag showed the number “44” and closed the case, prompting criticism for disregarding a banned Nazi symbol.
