Renewed deportations under German control (Einsatzgruppe H)

After August 1944, German units deported approximately 12,600 Slovak Jews, many to Auschwitz, Theresienstadt, and camps in Germany. Sereď functioned as a primary internment and deportation hub during this phase. This entry captures the “final phase” mechanism: intensified round-ups, tighter Nazi control, and lethal speed as the war turned against Germany.
