Roma–Jewish Solidarity March

Jewish and Roma activists organised a joint public demonstration emphasising shared experiences of prejudice, exclusion, and historical persecution. In the post-communist setting—where social anxieties were often channelled into ethnic scapegoating—such solidarity initiatives aimed to disrupt the logic of isolated minority vulnerability. The event also carried a strategic message: antisemitism and antigypsyism are not separate “community issues” but interconnected threats to democratic culture, public safety, and equal citizenship.
