Suppression of Samizdat

State security services targeted Jewish Samizdat publications, confiscating materials and interrogating contributors. These underground texts, often focused on religious identity, cultural survival, and historical justice, were labelled ideologically dangerous. Suppression further entrenched the association of Jewish identity with dissidence.
