Aktion Erntefest (‘Harvest Festival’)

In one of the largest single massacres of the Holocaust, SS and police units murdered around 42,000 Jews at Majdanek, Poniatowa, and Trawniki. The operation aimed to eliminate the last Jewish labourers in the General Government.
