A hate symbol in Brno connecting prejudices against Jews and Ukrainians

In Brno, a person who was not drunk painted a Jewish star on a building where aid was provided to Ukrainian refugees and wrote the words JEWKRAINE under it. He was thus negatively labeling Ukraine as a Jewish-led state. In a situation where part of the Czech population was negatively disposed against aid to Ukrainian refugees and a certain part of the population even had anti-Semitic prejudices, such symbolism had a mobilizing message for people with such attitudes and at the same time, in the overall context of the location, it also intimidated those who had helped Ukrainian refugees before the war.
