Neo-Nazi assaults by Totenkopf group in Brno

A Brno-based neo-Nazi youth group called Totenkopf attacked people they believed to be Jewish, Arab or Romani. Though no serious injuries occurred, the assaults revealed the presence of violent extremist subcultures in late communist Czechoslovakia. Police intervened, and State Security monitored the group’s openly antisemitic and racist activities.
