Anti-Roma ‘Work Camps’ Proposal

ĽSNS MPs proposed the creation of state-run forced labour camps targeting unemployed Roma. Although the proposal was rejected, it evoked historical fascist practices and signalled the normalisation of dehumanising policy ideas. The debate revealed how poverty was reframed as criminality along racial lines.
