Anti-Semitic threats and insults to journalists in the courthouse

A trial was held at the Karviná District Court building in Karviná involving a suspect charged with a hate crime against Roma. His supporters verbally attacked two journalists for reporting during the trial, shouting at them that they were "Jewish pigs and swine" because they were defending the Gypsies. They threatened a Roma man present that he would "fly down the chimney anyway". They were later convicted for these insults and threats (two of them also for violent activities against the Roma). The case shows the interconnected hatred of racist skinheads of the time, who saw Jews as protectors of the Roma and hated both of these entities.
