Destruction of Roma Holocaust Memorial, Budapest
The Roma Holocaust Memorial on Budapest’s Nehru Part riverbank was vandalised with graffiti reading “Gays, paedophiles and George Soros belong in gas chamber.” The unknown perpetrator targeted multiple vulnerable groups, combining antigypsy, antisemitic, and anti-LGBTQ hatred.
