False announcement that Jews were killed, coupled with threats of further violence

In May and June 2017, a pair of young men, for their own amusement, made various false threats and reported violent acts, which, however, did not actually take place. Sometimes they also claimed to belong to the so-called Islamic State, with which they were not actually connected and did not profess the Muslim religion. One of these false reports was that an armed perpetrator was in the Olšany cemeteries in Prague, people were shot around him, and he said that Jews were not people. He also noted that there are still many Jews around him so that he may continue. The perpetrator posed as a specific controversial influencer with whom he had no real affiliation. The criminal prosecution of the perpetrator was later stopped due to his insanity. However, the case shows how anti-Semitic stereotypes also affect young people in this problematic health condition.
