Firecracker attack on Jews outside Prague synagogue

Seven skinheads threw a petard at Jewish worshippers standing outside a Prague synagogue, accompanied by verbal insults. No injuries were reported. Initially treated as a minor offence, the case was later reopened. The attack reinforced insecurity among Prague’s Jewish community and demonstrated the continued presence of skinhead antisemitic violence in the 1990s.
