Founding of Patriotic Union “Grunwald”

A pro-communist nationalist movement openly employed antisemitic rhetoric, accusing dissidents of serving “Jewish interests.” Supported by the regime, it bridged communist propaganda with far-right narratives. On 8th March they organized demonstration in front of Justice Ministry. The speeches focused mainly on “the persecution suffered by Polish patriots in the years 1948–1956.” The blame for this was placed on Jews “who during that period held leadership positions in the Ministry of Public Security”. On 25th April Grunwald was officially registered.
