Gas-Pistol Attack on Roma Women in Holešov

The leader of the far-right National Patriotic Union assaulted three Roma women in Holešov, using antigypsyist insults, tear gas, and firing a gas pistol. One victim was pregnant. He received a suspended sentence for violence against a group. The attack reflected the persistent overlap between nationalist extremism and anti-Roma hatred.
