Killing of Milan Lacko in Orlová

After being beaten by racist skinheads, Romani man Milan Lacko was left unconscious on a road in Orlová, where he was fatally struck by a passing vehicle. The perpetrators were convicted only for battery and failure to render aid, despite clear racist motivation. The case illustrated systemic minimisation of antigypsyist violence and deepened community insecurity.
