Liquidation of the Theresienstadt Family Camp

On the night of 8–9 March, the SS murdered 3,792 Jews from the Theresienstadt Family Camp in the gas chambers of Auschwitz-Birkenau—the largest single mass killing of Czechoslovak Jews. Survivors recalled victims singing the Czechoslovak anthem as they died, a final act of collective resistance and identity.
