Neo-Nazi arson attack on a Roma family in Krnov

Neo-Nazi skinhead Radek Bedri threw a Molotov cocktail into an apartment inhabited by Roma at night and caused a fire, in which Roma woman Emilie Žigová suffered burns to about 40% of her body, and another Roma in the apartment also suffered other injuries. He then set fire to another Roma's car. The perpetrator was later sentenced to two years without parole for several crimes, which was criticized as too lenient by the damage and Roma organizations. Nazi materials were confiscated from him, including Hitler Jugend symbols. The case fits into a series of attacks in the Krnov and Jesenicko regions at the time in connection with the rise of the neo-Nazi and neo-fascist scene there.
