Proclamation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

With the establishment of the Protectorate, German racial legislation—including the Nuremberg Laws—became enforceable across the occupied territory. Roma and Sinti, classified as racially inferior, were subjected to intensified monitoring, police registration and movement controls. While Protectorate institutions retained administrative roles, they actively assisted in implementing German racial measures, making antigypsyism a formalised element of state governance.
