Racial Laws and Labour Restrictions on Roma

Following the adoption of the Jewish Codex, comparable racial legislation was extended to Roma communities, restricting access to employment, education, and public institutions. Roma children were excluded from schools, and adults were barred from numerous occupations, entrenching intergenerational marginalisation. These measures formally embedded antigypsyism within the Slovak legal system and aligned Roma policy more closely with Nazi racial doctrine.
