Reinhard Heydrich appointed Deputy Reich Protector

Reinhard Heydrich, head of the Reich Security Main Office, replaced von Neurath, tasked with “Germanising” the Protectorate and accelerating anti-Jewish measures. He quickly moved toward deportation plans, signalling the transition from discrimination and expropriation to systematic removal and annihilation of Jews from Czech lands.
