Roma Forced to Wear Distinctive Badges

Authorities ordered Roma men, women, and children to wear visible identifying markers that publicly designated them as racially different. This practice exposed Roma to humiliation, harassment, and violence, while making discrimination socially acceptable. The policy echoed similar measures imposed on Jews and signalled a further escalation of racial classification and exclusion within Slovak society.
