Skinhead Attack on a Roma Family in Gyöngyös

On 3 July 1995, 20–90 skinheads attacked a Roma family’s home in Gyöngyös, armed with clubs, knives, and gas pistols. A woman was stabbed and another resident injured before police arrested five extremists. Authorities again downplayed racial motives despite clear antigypsy intent and a wider pattern of skinhead violence in the region.
