Threat to “Shoot Down” Roma Settlement Inspired by Breivik

A man from the Zlín region posted online threats announcing he would “be like Breivik” and planned to massacre a Roma settlement. Police detained him before an attack could occur. He received an 18-month suspended sentence. The case showed the radicalising effect of global extremist role models on domestic antigypsyist hatred.
