Youngsters in Ostrava beat and obliterate Roma letters under the name “Union of Terrorist Youth.”

A group of teenagers from the Secondary Vocational School of Mining in Ostrava founded a group called the "Union of Terrorist Youth, which attacked local Roma and sent them threatening letters. It was also inspired by the racist organization Ku Klux Klan. The State Security exposed the group on 24 March 1984. The case documented racism and anti-Roma prejudices among some of the youth of the time, and at the same time, an attempt to be inspired by an organization originating in the USA, which was negatively presented in the education system at the time as a symbol of racism in the USA.
