Attempt to classify Roma detainees as wartime traitors

In Pardubice, a group of Roma were detained over alleged pre-war or wartime criminality, and local authorities even considered using presidential decrees intended for German and Hungarian collaborators. Although ultimately rejected, the attempt reveals how deeply antigypsyist prejudices persisted after the war, treating Roma as an inherently suspect population whose rights could be suspended outside normal legal frameworks.
